Ladies and gentlemen what we saw tonight was a true statesmen and a true leader. Sadly this is a rare event in American politics. Governor Huckabee readily put the good of his country and party ahead of his own goals. While most will agree that he was a long shot at best there were many Americans, including myself that were ready to go for the long shot. Now that the republicans have their leader we are now watching the democrat's redefine themselves and the rules that they agreed to play by. What a stark difference between the two parties!
As I sit here listening to Hillary spouting off about her experience, that we all know she doesn't have why isn't anyone challenging her hollow words. Why isn't anyone saying “Hillary, how are you going to pay for all your plans? Hillary NAFTA was your husband's baby. Where were you when it was conceived? When she speaks on behalf of the military, I get ill, where has she been for the last seven years? As a retired vet I want to know!
She seems to be able to spout great platitudes but to use an old quote “where's the beef? One parting thought would someone clue her in on the fact that she isn't running against President Bush.

Who would or will challenge her - her own political party hacks in the main-stream dinosaur media? Not likely!! Conservative talk radio, yes for sure; but all combined reach only a very small percentage of the population.
